Everyone has a right to fight against these charges and to make their best attempt to erase this stigma that could ruin his or her future, but this is only possible with the right attorney.

A woman in Moon Township has been charged with DUI after police pulled her over with her 2-year-old daughter in the car. According to police, this is not the first time she’s been pulled over for that particular infraction. This time was different because of an incident of road rage was involved.

The 40-year-old mother was driving a white Toyota SUV. The Moon Township chief of police claims she was not just driving. A 911 call details the suspect chasing another car, even bumping that other car with her own vehicle numerous times.

Prepared with the description of the suspect and her car, the police went to investigate and found the suspect, with her very young daughter in the car, in a child safety seat. Police say they smelled alcohol. When the suspect was given field sobriety tests, she failed them.

At first, she told police she had not been drinking, but later she admitted to drinking two bottles of whiskey at home. There was also an empty bottle of Black Velvet in her back pocket. She later confessed to having taken two Percocet pills the previous night.

She faces a number of charges, including reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child, and driving under the influence.

Police found the suspect also had a pending DUI from months earlier in North Fayette Township. Reports indicate there was a child in the car at that time, as well.
