An accident involving a Philadelphia Police officer and another vehicle being driven by an alleged drunk driver happened on the 16th. Authorities say that the accident took place near the intersection of Front and Indiana Streets in the Fairhill section of Philadelphia. Police officials say that the officer who was involved in the accident was uninjured while the driver of the other vehicle was transported by ambulance to Episcopal Hospital. The condition of the other driver has not been released.
Officials say that the accident is still currently under investigation and no charges have yet been filed.
