4-Vehicle Crash Ends in DUI Charge

Credit: David GoehringA woman has been charged with driving under the influence after causing a 4-vehicle chain-reaction crash. Her child was in the car with her at the time of the accident.

The crash happened shortly before 6:00 p.m. on December 6th at the 300 block of Spring Mill Road, located in Villanova.

Karin Linde, 32, of Claymont, Delaware caused the crash. Police officers who were at the scene of the accident said that Linde had shown signs of alcohol impairment and was taken into custody. She was later released on bail.

One of the drivers of the other four vehicles suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. Ms. Linde’s child was not hurt in the crash.
