Pennsylvania State Police at Lehighton have announced extra patrols during the Presidents’ Day weekend.
In an effort to reduce the number of crashes, fatalities, and injuries on Pennsylvania roads, State Police from Troop N, Lehighton will be conducting roving patrols over the Presidents Day Weekend. , Lehighton Station Commander Brian C. Vadell announced that this move comes as part of the Pennsylvania State Police Selective Traffic Enforcement Against Drunken Driving (STEAD D) program.
The stationary/roving patrols will be conducted over the Presidents Day weekend from Feb. 15 through Feb. 17 in Carbon and Monroe counties.
